Clothes for Bridie

Thanks for all your lovely comments from my last post - it was lovely to read that you all felt the same way.

So as promised - back to sewing , here are some clothes that I have been busy making for my newest little niece. I have used some lovely reversible cotton/linen from here (that is the brown spotty fabric) and the rest of the fabric all came from Amitie of course. My mum made the gorgeous little knitted cardigan. Just wish I could show you some photos of my niece wearing the clothes - there is such a shortage of babies in these parts!

Be careful what you wish for my dear.
With clothes that sweet I am sure people will be happy to loan you a baby if you promise to dress it!

Don't you wish you had little girls of your own to dress?
I sure do!
When my niece was born, I knitted like the wind for her.
Little Bridie is going to be the best dressed babe in town.

Everything's gorgeous! You've been so productive craft-wise. Makes me wish for the days before full-time work. Argh! Back then I was wishing I was working. Can't win.
