Finally

The last few months have been very slow for me - I lost my 'sewing mojo' (I think that is what they call it) but I am so happy to announce - it is back ....................................

Here is a quilt I did finish a while back but just didn't get around to putting on the label - I made this for a cousin's gorgeous little boy (he was born way back on the 4th July) - I love the freshness of this one.

Quilt - Choc Mint
Quilt - Choc MintQuilt - Choc MintQuilt For Ben
Label on my quilt

I know it is alot like other quilts I have made - but I do find these quilts the most appealing to me.

So fresh and zingy!! Love it. So unlike the 'usual' boys quilts. I would love it myself too!
Welcome back and welcome back crafty mojo. I've lost mine before as well but it does come back.... glad to hear it's happening again for you. :)

Gorgeous! I love it. It may look simple but I think it shows off the fabrics nicely.

Well what a comeback! It's beautiful. I love the quilting you did. I don't think I would have thought of black thread. I love this quilt and I see Ben's mum does too :)

I LOVE this quilt! It reminds me i have my own to finish in this same pattern using green, black and white fabrics. It's been in the making for almost 2 years :( I have all the blocks made (72 i think), just need to do the rest. I think i need to pull my finger out and get it done.

love this quilt! the greens are awesome. did you machine quilt any of it, or is the black hand-quilting all you did? (I'm new at hand-quilting and LOVE it)

This is just beautiful... I love what you do... it's out of the square, not out of the box and if this is similar to your other quilts then you have a lovely style. x

I haven't seen anything this great for a long time- i'm keen to have a go at something like this myself, love that it's not overcomplicated, just simple yet modern/ stylish/ timeless, a very lucky little man to be receiving this....
