Tuesdays

I haven't been able to post for a little while. Our hard drive crashed so I haven't been able to use my normal computer. I hope I haven't lost too much. We find out tomorrow. I am not sure how upload photos on this computer (the spare) - it doesn't have the same programs. Not that I know much about computers. I leave that to the male population of our household.

Tamara and I have a 'special showing' at a girl's home tomorrow. Tam is showing her gorgeous ribbons and I am showing all of my range. So it has been a very busy household, these last few days, but I have thoroughly enjoyed myself.

My hubby has been fantastic. Now that our last little boy has started school, I thought that it was time I had a little bit of 'me' time. So, hubby and I have discussed what would be the best solution and we have come up with the following - Tuesday will be my day. I will get the children off to school - lunches etc. Then when they have gone quickly do the beds, dishes and a quick tidy up. Then, the whole day is mine. WOW!!!

I have a wonderful time sewing or designing all day. I don't answer the phone or the door. My friends now know that Tuesday is not the day to drop in. I don't even feel guilty when I am surfing all the gorgeous blogs out there.

The children come home and they know not to disturb me, although I still get the 'I'm hungry' routine. Hubby then puts dinner on and I can keep going. He makes sure the kids are bathed and then feeds them dinner.

I am in utter utopio - although the house looks more like a bomb has gone off in it.

I just love TUESDAY. I don't even have to clean up the dishes or anthing. I surely am very lucky to have such a supportive family.

Tonight we printed some cards on vellum and then stuck them onto cardstock as I have run out of my business cards and thought that I might need them tomorrow with Tam . So, as we don't have a printer at the moment, we had to run to the neighbours to print them off.

Anyway, we shouldn't run into that problem again as Marianne is designing me a new logo. So far the designs have been fantastic. Can't wait to see the finished design.

Hopefully, tomorrow I will be able to upload some photos.
