Challenge - To Make a Quilt Entirely From My Existing Stash!

Quilt in Progress

I gave myself a challenge this week to make a quilt entirely from my stash. No new fabric allowed!

Here is how it is going so far - not sure what it will turn out like - I quite like the colours though.

It's for a brand new baby boy!

It's gorgeous! The photos are great too. Did your resident photographer take them?

I'm sure you had lots of fun fondling forgotten fabrics from your stash to make this fantastic looking top. (Did you enjoy my factor five alliteration?)

Gorgeous, Cathy! And good luck with your challenge. I managed to do it only once, but the backing fabric I still had to pop out to Spotlight for.

when the stash looks that good, it sounds like a perfect idea. And now, I guess you'll have to restock the stash - what a wonderful cycle. Great to meet you friday

The prints are stunning. I'm planning to do the same with a doona cover for my 8 year old's bed. I think I could make ten doona covers from my scraps alone.......
