Frankly My Dear ..................

Onto a completely different topic altogether (other than what I should be doing for the Stitches & Craft Show which is looming up very quickly) - I have just finished reading Gone With The Wind and the sequel Scarlett!

I have had these books sitting on my book shelves for years and never thought that I would read them - One night, I was desperate for a book to read so I grabbed Gone With The Wind. I am so glad that I did, I couldn't put the book down. I thought it was delightfully written and not boring at all (I thought, for some reason, it might be written in a very old fashioned way). The sequel is equally as good as well and it was lovely to have a happy ending. I have been entranced by Scarlett and Rhett and am very sad that I have finished the book. I can always rent the DVD!

If you are in need of a good read, don't look past these two fantastic books. Now I am off to read my next book from Book Club - Sons & Lovers!!!

I spent a considerable amount of time in Year 10 reading Gone With The Wind during classes, under cover of my desk (or so I thought - until my teacher called out "Scarlett" to get my attention). It's a terrific read! I'm trying to finish "The Slap" in time for my book group tomorrow night.

Oooh Sons & Lovers -- that's one I've always wanted to read. I read Gone with the Wind when I was a kid -- I have vivid memories of a very rainy Saturday curled up with that book and reading ALL day 'cause I couldn't put it down!

Gone with the Wind is one of my all time favourite books - and the movie is a great afternoon's entertainment. They show it at The Astor in St Kilda sometimes - try and keep and eye out for it if you are in the area.

Oh my gosh.........Gone With The Wind is my all time favorite movie! I've read the book too, but years ago. I've had Scarlett sitting on the shelf for several years.....you've inspired me to take it down and read the darn thing.

Blessings,
Spencer

Gone with the Wind is one of my favorites!! I think I have read it four times now! Scarlett was amazing too, but I got "Rhett Butlers People" this year and hated it! Do not bother reading it!!!
